U.S. News California: Desert AIDS Project Makes Most of GrantsDecember 21, 2011 The Desert AIDS Project and FIND Food Bank have been selected to receive grants from the "Neighborhood Builders" program of the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. Each agency will receive $100,000 annually for two years, as well as leadership development programs targeting senior executives and emerging leaders. "In times like these, it becomes even more important for organizations like DAP and FIND to help those in need," said David Brinkman, DAP's CEO. DAP provides a range of comprehensive services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS; FIND is dedicated to relieving hunger by mobilizing community resources through education and awareness.
