U.S. News Liz Taylor's Jewels Sell for $115 MillionDecember 16, 2011 The sale of jewelry from the estate of the late Elizabeth Taylor brought in a total of $115 million, the auction house Christie's told the New York Post. Part of the proceeds from the sale will go to the screen star's AIDS foundation. The sale set a new world's record for the auction of a single private jewelry collection.
