Austrian Health Minister Stresses Prevention in Fight Against AIDS

Austria's health minister marked World AIDS Day by stressing the importance of prevention, protection, timely diagnosis and early treatment. "Education, information and prevention are the most important tools in the fight against this disease," Alois Stoeger said. He warned that HIV is trending upward in some Central and Eastern European nations bordering Austria.
