West Virginia: Charleston Marking World AIDS Day

December 1, 2011

A ceremony, a candlelight procession to the Living AIDS Memorial Garden, and a reading of the names of people lost to the disease will mark World AIDS Day in Charleston. The commemoration also will recognize the Ryan White Program at Charleston Area Medical Center, which provides AIDS care to patients who could not otherwise afford it, the Charleston Gazette reported.
