Wyoming Encourages People to Take Free HIV Tests

The Wyoming Department of Health is observing World AIDS Day by encouraging people to take advantage of free HIV testing offered at family planning clinics and public health offices throughout the state. Rob Johnston, the department's HIV prevention coordinator, said one-third of people who test HIV-positive are already too ill to get the full benefit of treatment to delay progress to AIDS.
