Texas: Dallas Cowboys Tight End Martellus Bennett to Participate in World AIDS Day Event

A World AIDS Day commemoration in downtown Dallas Thursday evening will feature Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett, local activists, political and religious leaders, and performances by the Women's Chorus of Dallas and the African drum ensemble from Booker T. Washington High School. At the Greater Than AIDS booth, participants can record their "deciding moment" -- their own personal decision to take a stand against the disease. The free event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Main Street Garden, 1900 Main St.
