Michigan: World AIDS Day Observance 2011

A World AIDS Day event at Detroit's Northwest Activities Center on Dec. 1 will include prevention workshops and a health fair. It also will feature "LIFESTORYZ: State of Emergency," an uplifting hip-hop and R&B HIV informational project. Keynote Speaker Dr. Anthony Atkins is the project's presenter. The free event will be held 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at 18100 Meyers Rd. For more information, telephone Tracy Peterson-Jones, 313-465-4422.
