Florida: Women's Health Center Moving in January

The Lake County Health Department's Women's Wellness Center is moving after the first of the year. The center will close Jan. 4 at its current location, 9836 US Hwy. 441; it will reopen Jan. 9 at 2113 W. Griffin Rd. The center helps women who are applying for Medicaid, providing services that include STD testing and treatment, family planning, and maternity and postpartum care. The new center also will offer immunizations. The facility's hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays; appointments are available by telephoning 352-360-6548.
