Texas: AIDS Awareness Week Seeks Submissions

In recognition of World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, AIDS Awareness Week -- A San Antonio Collaborative is inviting agencies, schools, and community members to take part in a range of local activities Nov. 27-Dec. 3. "We initiated AIDS Awareness Week to extend service to the community," said David Ewell, executive director of the San Antonio AIDS Foundation. "Our resource website, www.saAIDSweek.org, allows the public to learn about projects, programs, and events that are happening the week of World AIDS Day." Individuals are invited to use the website to explore local awareness efforts and to submit additional events for listing on the site.
