Tennessee: Commission Approves Care for HIV/AIDS

November 3, 2011

The Shelby County Commission signed off Monday on two federally funded AIDS-related grants. The commission approved $89,400 for the HIV/AIDS Center of Excellence Program, and $846,000 through the Ryan White program to provide services such as outpatient medical care, case management, and insurance and transportation assistance for patients in the Memphis metropolitan area.
