Uganda: Anti-Gay Bill Is Revived

Uganda's Parliament has voted to restart debate on a bill, first proposed in 2009, that would outlaw homosexuality and that could be expanded to impose the death penalty on gays and lesbians. Speaker Rebecca Kadaga told legislators the bill is being sent to a committee for consideration.
