U.S. News Illinois: Thousands at Chicago AIDS WalkOctober 7, 2011 Last Saturday's 2011 AIDS Run & Walk Chicago drew almost 5,000 people to downtown Chicago and took in an estimated $500,000. The money raised goes to support the work of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and its partner agencies. WGN-TV personalities Dean Richards and Erin McElroy welcomed the crowd, along with David Munar, AFC's executive director and CEO. Also on hand to show their support were U.S. Rep.
