U.S. News California: Road to AIDS 2012 Town HallSeptember 16, 2011 Community members will be invited to speak out about HIV/AIDS at a meeting held in the run-up to next year's XIX International AIDS Conference in Washington. "Road to AIDS 2012: An HIV/AIDS Town Hall" will take place Sept. 30 at San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place. The meeting begins with a reception at 5 p.m.; the discussion following is set to last until 9 p.m. Sponsored by a grant from the Merck Co. Foundation, this will be the first of 15 town halls to be held across the country in an effort to ensure that community voices are heard in the development of a domestic platform for the conference.
