Pennsylvania: Bar AIDS Returns With New Locales
August 23, 2011
Eighteen venues have signed up to take part in Thursday night's Bar AIDS event in Philadelphia. The funds raised will be split equally among ActionAIDS, Mazzoni Center, Philadelphia FIGHT and the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania. Participating bars will donate one-third of the day's sales, while coffeehouses will give 15 percent. Twelve businesses took part in the city's first Bar AIDS last year and raised $12,000.
