Tennessee: Metro Development and Housing Agency Awards HIV, AIDS Housing Grants

Five Nashville-area nonprofits were awarded a total of $884,409 to provide people with HIV/AIDS housing services and case management. The grants will also help cover the groups' administrative costs. Grant recipients include: Nashville CARES, Urban Housing Solutions, First Response Center, Street Works, and Women on Maintaining Education & Nutrition. Nashville is one of 82 cities that receive federal funds for housing for low-income HIV/AIDS patients and their families.
