Pennsylvania: Free HIV Testing
June 24, 2011
Free, rapid-result oral HIV tests will be administered at Lancaster General Health's Comprehensive Care Medicine on Monday, National HIV Testing Day, from 1 to 5 p.m. In addition, the facility, at 554 N. Duke St., offers free HIV testing every Tuesday from 1 to 5 p.m., and every Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. Since 2008, when Lancaster General launched its free testing outreach, more than 500 people have been tested annually. The federally funded CCM program provides HIV specialty care to more than 500 Lancaster County residents. For more information on testing, telephone 717-544-4943 or visit www.LancasterGeneral.org.
