Kentucky Health Officials Urge HIV Testing

June 27 is National HIV Testing Day, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services is taking the opportunity to remind residents that testing and prevention can stop the spread of the virus. Free testing will be offered at several sites next week; for information, telephone Dennis Wheatley of the HIV/AIDS Branch at 502-564-6539, ext. 3559, or the Northern Kentucky Health Department at 859-341-4264. For information on testing sites across the United States, visit www.hivtest.org.
