Michael Giordano, M.D.
Dr. Michael Giordano is Assistant Attending Physician and Director of the Cornell AIDS Clinical Trials Unit, at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center where he has held numerous positions including Clinical Fellow in the Division of International Medicine, and Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Giordano is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of International Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Department of Medicine at Cornell University Medical College. He has held other academic positions there, including Walsh McDermott Fellow in the Division of International Medicine, Senior Clinical Associate, and Assistant Professor of Medicine.

Dr. Giordano is active in the Clinical Trials Network Scientific Committee; the National AIDS Treatment Information Project; and the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS. In addition to his research and many publications, he is a member of the International AIDS Society, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Physicians Association for AIDS Care.

A native New Yorker, Dr. Giordano attended Cornell University Medical College, and Columbia University School of Public Health.
