Many buildings in Thailand have a spirit house, a colorful-looking structure the size of a large birdhouse, on some part of the property. Pictured here is a food offering in front of a spirit house; generally, it's a way to keep spirits out of your house. Food, flowers, candles, sweets and incense are offered to them.
