The Moscow-based organization called SHAGI was created by people living with HIV. They provide prevention and treatment information, as well as try to influence government policy and public opinion. Although officially there are 238,000 registered cases of HIV in Russia, according to some estimates, there may be more than one million people with HIV in Russia. However, the Russian government still has yet to come up with a clear policy for HIV testing and treatment. This is SHAGI's poster and it says "Empower yourself."
