Cocktail?



Question:

He oido y leido varias veces que los enfermos del SIDA hacen referencia a algo llamado "cocktail" podria explicarme que es esto? Que beneficios trae al infectado? Muchas Gracias Sigan asi :)

Cuando hablamos del cóctel de antirretrovirales nos referimos a la combinación de más de tres fármacos que se emplean para el tratamiento del SIDA. Con el uso de estas combinaciones se ha conseguido paralizar completamente la replicación viral y cuando esto se consigue las defensas del individuo mejoren de manera considerable lo que previene la aparición de infecciones oportunistas. Desde la aparición de estas combinaciones de pronóstico del SIDA ha mejorado de manera dramática.
