Question:

Estimados Doctores: Hace 4 años sostuve una relacion de alto riesgo con una prostituta al cabo de tres semanas sufri sintomas muy fuertes de algun tipo de virosis que me obligaron a estar en cama por tres semanas aproximadamente.Desde ese entonces me he practicado diferentes examenes eliza y de carga viral todo negativos.Desafortunademnte estoy padeciendo sintomas que son caracteristicos de una infeccion con VIH en particular retraccion de las encias, debilitamiento del cabello y del pelo del cuerpo (esta empezando a desaparecer)y otros.Me esposa esta empezando a padecer de los mismos sintomas.Me realice un conteo de CD4 cuyo resultado fue CD4 939 y cd8 518, lamentablemnte no me dieron el % de cd4.Mis linfocitos estan en 2500/ 36%.Necesito su opinion al respecto,muchas gracias.


Respuesta:

No creo que este infectado por el VIH. Repitase la prueba a los 6 meses de la exposición de riesgo y quedese tranquilo.
