After many years of travel to foreign countries I decided to get tested for intestinal parasites. It was found that I have Endolimax nana and Entamoeba coli, which are both considered non-disease causing organisms, by the CDC. However, some literature indicates that any intestinal issues should be treated in HIV'ers since the virus tends to live in the intestines and could be problematic, even lowering CD4. It seems like the most common treatment is Flagyl. But aren't there other treatments with different prescription medicines perhaps combined with recognized natural treatments, like oregano oil. Anyone here had any experience in treating this condition?
