I don't understand why there is a problem with the term aids, it's just a word. What counts is how you feel. I was diagnosed as " full blown Aids " 20 years ago. The term " Full blown" is what threw me for a loop at first, but now 20 years later , 18 on meds , though I'm still and will always be classified as " aids " it is just another word. If someone calls me a poop head do I get all bent out of shape, no of course not. Its just a term.. So please folks don't get your panties in a bunch over something that really is irrelevant. Matter of fact this so called illness has taught me not to sweat the small stuff in life. Just move ahead and and keep on living. Call yourself what you want , even if it's poop head.
