Hi,
Don't be too alarmed just yet. Your high viral load and low CD4 count may actually be because you sero-converted very recently. A high viral load is to my knowledge normal during this initial phase.
Indeed, like you I tested positive recently and had low initial CD4 count -- something like 270 -- and a high viral load around 197,000. I had also tested negative about a year before that and I am pretty sure I got this not too long before I got the positive test result.
This threw me for a real loop and the doctor got me on meds right away. About 3 months after starting on meds my viral load is down to around 170 and my cd4 count has jumped to 880.
This may very well be the case with you too, so just take your meds and take care of your health. I hope you feel better soon.
