Re: Professional in NY feeling alone

Wayne, Thanks for your reply and well wishes. I still think you are misinterpreting my statements, which is why I was hesitant to post a blog in the first place. I have nothing against "old timers" and people on disability. Nothing at all. I judge you not. I only wish that I could (and I have thanks to my post) met people when I was first diagnosed that were in a similar situation than me; I think it might, big might, have made things easier for me in the beginning. Just an opinion, which may be an ignorant one. That's all. Not that I am better (because I know for a fact that I am not) than people on disability. I judge not. I am in the mental health field and have worked with folks in all walks of life. I made true and honest friendships with people who are HIV+ employed and unemployed. I too wish you the best and a long and healthy life.
For the record, It's Mr. and Dr. and my name is Tony and I living with HIV. This is not said from the perspective of a jaded queen. Just answering a question you seemed to have posed in your reply. If this was not a question, I apologize if this is offensive to you. None of my statements, from start to finsih have been made to offend anyone.
