Re: Professional in NY feeling alone

Hi Gurlzone, Thank you for your response. I really needed to hear what you had to say. I want to add that I am not opposed to people with folks of any socio-economic status. I have friends of varying cultures and SES. When I made that statement, I was referring to the group I used to go to when I live in NJ. Yes, I got a lot of hope and support from them. I only wished that I could have related to them in the sense that my career is just now taking off and I am very active in my professional community and would like to feel less different. I know that HIV can affect anyone, PhD's and foks on public assistance. I know that for a fact. Again, I just wanted to relate to someone on that level. I hope that I am not coming across as some sort of snobish ass, because I truly am not. I loved the guys I used to hang with and still talk with them by phone. Thanks again for your response. T
