Blood Test

I went to my doctor today but did not tell him about my HIV worries. He has decided to do a blood test tomorrow although he says that he thinks i just have a cold. Do you think I have anything to worry about? Surely he would of noticed something if I had HIV - symptoms or possibly something in my mouth etc. I really hope so. I guess my test results will say if I have anything. Please reply if you think that this is a good indication that my doctor did not pick anything up?
