Telling family please help!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to tell family members that you might be HIV positive? I got tested a week ago and results will come in, in two weeks. My mom knows but my dad and other family members dont. My dad and other family members live in a different state then me, but my mom says I need to tell them, and soon for that matter. This news will shock and devistate the family. My family has a lot of negitive feelings about HIV/AIDS, and how it is contracted. They are very uneducated about this subject. Im afride they will think less of me and treat me like an outsider. So please anyone with any info on how to break the news I could use it badly. Thank you very much Baighleigh
