Hello, I'm 16 going on 17 and I want to get a tattoo for my birthday. I am HIV positive. I'm wondering if there can be any complication towards me if I get a tattoo. I am of course aware that I need to go to a safe sterile professional environment when getting a tattoo. I already know where I might be going if I decide to get one and I assure you it's very safe and he is very good about throwing away dirty needles and so forth. Like I said, I am concerned that it might do damage to me. But, I don't really know too much about this stuff when it comes to tattoos. If any has any information please let me know. I guess it'd be best to talk to my doctor before getting it. Still, let me know if you know anything about it, thanks.
