Hi everyone. I am a Secondary teacher from the Edinburgh in Scotland, UK.
I am intending to run a course for a class of 12 years olds on the issue of HIV. I have planned a number of sessions which aim to raise awareness, challange perceptions and promote a better understanding.
I think a helpful way of drawing on related themes and issues for this age-group may be through a medium such as a poem or short story, from the perspective of a child who has a parent with HIV e.g 'my dads a normal dad'.
If anyone can help me track down such resources or even has a story of their own they could share I would be most grateful. Any other feedback on how to approach this subject is greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Gavin
