This is a tough situation, but work through it together. Although if your partner has tested clean right now....he should really get tested in another 4 months as it can take several months for the antibodies to show up in his system. You can lessen the risk of transferrance by taking a daily suppressive and using a condom - this combination reduces the risk to 2-3% per encounter I believe (google Valtrex for the statistics).
