A friend has AIDS

Hello, I really wanted to share my story because I thought that
it gives merit to how society can come together to help overcome
the AIDS pandemic. Firstly, I do not have AIDS, but rather
volunteer my time to AIDS organizations so that I can speak to
people and inform them of the consequences of the disease. I was
inspired by the late Pedro Zamora, who appeared on "The Real
World". Zamora taught me the compassion and insight that I would
later use to help others. Currently I am a student at Central
College in Pella, Ia. and I have just joined onto the AIDS
Friendship Network to help spread awareness around the Campus. I
wish all HIV/AIDS victims the best of luck... Hang in there.
