My brother is positive

My brother is positive and he has just moved in with me. The fact that we know so little about HIV is scary. He is 34 and has been positive for 5-6 years. I have four children, a niece and her 1 month old baby that live with me. I know enough to know that we cannot contract the virus by touch but believe me when I say the fear of the unknown get the better of you. My brother is my life. The thought of having to make sure he is healthy rests soley with me. He has got a rash on his arms and has bad stys in both his eyes. Is this the start of shingles? where do I go for the information I need? What do I need to be careful of? Please help.
