Getting pregnant with + husband

Hey everyone,

I was hoping that maybe some of you can help me. I am married to a man who is HIV+ we have been married for 5 years. I am negative. We have wanted to have a child for a long time now, but we are not getting much support from the people around us. So my question is, have any of you had any success in getting pregnant and have you remained negative and what are the best ways to keep me safe? We can't afford sperm washing so its going to have to be the old fashioned way. I would appreciate any comments because it seems like no one we talk to understands or tells us we are being stupid in risking my status. (they obviously are not in our situation, its only natural that we want a child just like any other married couple)
