Hello, all. I am new to these boards. I am HIV-, with a very close friend who is HIV+. We have started to develop feelings for each other, and he informed me just about a week ago that he is HIV pos. He has been in treatment for 15 years now, and has a CD4 count in the high 200s. I am so worried abotu him, but i don't want to overwhelm him with my concern. He has told me not to think about it too much, and that he tries not to think about it. But I can't get it out of my head. What is the truth abotu how long people live with CD4 levels like his? There is alot of conflicting information. And how do I support him without constantly reminding him of his disease and becoming more of a burden? I love him and he loves me, but there is so much to think about here. Do you guys have any advice for me?
