Hi, I'm Shannon.
My baby's main caregiver (besides my partner and me) was just diagnosed. We are combing the internet and the bookstores to find out what we need to do to help keep him healthy.
I'm worried that he won't be able to be our babysitter anymore because of how many germs kids spread. This week, for example, my baby has a cold and she passed it to me and now he seems to be coming down with it too.
Before this happened, we were looking for ways to have him live with us or live next door (our neighbor is moving) so that he could be closer to us when we have baby #2.
He is family and my daughter loves him to death. We want to be a good support to him, but we worry that we're just bringing him germs! Does anyone have any idea whether these worries are reasonable or where I can find out more information about this issue?
