paying for perscriptions any ideas?

just came home from the pharmacy, almost had a heart attack!! there is no way my boyfriend and i can afford these meds. even with our insurance. can anyone tell me their suggestions or know of any kind of organizations that help with this problem? i am new to this, and have no support system or knowlegde about this. any help would be appreciated. thanks
