If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area and newly diagnosed with HIV, you may be eligible to participate in research aimed to help people cope with the stress of being newly diagnosed.
Participants are assigned to contribute either by being interviewed or by learning skills to better manage their mood. All participants will meet one-on-one with a facilitator. Monetary compensation is offered.
Those interested can call the study line; we will ask you a few questions to determine if you are eligible. (415) 415-353-4299 iriss@ocim.ucsf.edu http://www.osher.ucsf.edu/research/iriss.html
