POZ in the Air Force
      08/15/02 02:52 AM

I was diagnosed in 99 and go to WHMC every six months. I am now at Travis AFB and for the life of me am the only one. This I can't believe. I would like to know someone else that I might be able to bounce stuff off. Of course I just can't share stuff with my coworkers but if I knew someone in my situation what a shoulder that would be to lean on when times get rough. Who else could understand and know what it is like to have bad days and even some good days. I feel I am the only one here and what a lonely thing that is. I do miss my friends that I meet every six months in San Antonio, but that is too long to wait to share experience and just be able to talk. I know there are quite a number of active duty air force members out there who happen to be HIV positive, but they hide when they go back to their duty station. It doesnt have to be here, just having someone that is going through the same thing. Anybody out there? Feel free to email at
