im a little bit worried, because right before i deployed i had a drunken night with unprotected vaginal sex with a woman i met at a bar around the base. i found out later that she was married, so i dont know if it is guilt or what, but im scared that i was exposed to the virus. A week after, i got sick (swollen lymph nodes, cough, post nasal drip, diahhreaetc) as well as a rather large pimple next to my groin (it wasnt herpes or anything). I got tested at 4 weeks and it was negative.About 9 weeks afterwards i got sick again, except it might have been the flu mist that they give to us yearly- i had swollen lymph nodes, fever, diahrea, head ache and a small non itchy rash on my stomach that disappeard after a couple of weeks. Now i am in afghanistan, waiting my 6 month test and im wondering how accurate the 4 week test was, as well as how long the results will take to get back to me here in afghanistan...
