Hi everyone this has got to be the best site for info. about HIV and treatment and its so easy to use. A little about me....Im 27, have had HIV for about 4 years, have never been on meds before. I just sought to get tested and treated last year, and was a very good thing I did. Had been in denial about it for awhile to myself. My first labs were cd4 294 and vl of 29,000 After getting diagnosed, I stopped smoking, partying, and started eating better. My cd4 jumped to the 400s, where it has stayed for a year, and Ive put on 10 pounds which was good for a skinny guy like me! I take multivitamins every day, and I am active and jog and run alot. Yesterday, my latest labs were cd4 500!!! Without meds. However, I know I have to start them anyway, so now is a better time than if I wait too long. I am a little nervous about it. But it is definately a journey I feel better about than when I first started. Look forward to chatting with everyone on here. xo.
