Before I tested positive, I could never understand why anyone would want to have an HIV birthday. However, my HIV birthday is October 16th - also 7 years. In the beginning, I didn't think that I would be able to get through this but I have since learned to appreciate life. I now say that HIV will eventually take my breath but I refuse to let it take my life! Good luck in your continuous journey.
