I understand your situaiton perfectly. I'm in a small rural area and everyone at the health department knows me and who I am. Yes, there are confidentiality laws, but if you have ever lived in a small town area you know that things get out. It does create a dilemma.

Have you checked with one of the local aids services orgainzations in your closest big city. They may have some suggestions that might help out. At least they should know the local requirements on disclosure, etc.

Here I give that advice and haven't done it myself yet. Hummm....

Good luck and I'd be intereted in knowing what you ultimately find out/do.
