I've seen people dig up documents like the one linked that say the CDC designates a 3 month testing window but their official policy is 6 months. Now keep in mind that almost all other countries have a three month window and most experts seem to agree that 3 months is sufficient. Then again if you read between the lines even other countries such as Canada caution that to be certain, testing out to 6 months for someone truly at risk (not the stripper sat on my lap types) is still adviseable.
