From EVERYTHING that I've read, you were not at risk. As far as having herpes, yes, they do say that IF you are having an outbreak, it is easier to contract HIV IF you are with someone with HIV, I think due to the fact that the skin is vulnerable since it is like an open sore. It's easier for blood an fluids to enter the body. I STRONGLY believe you have absolutely nothing to worry about, but I know how freaky and scary it is. You really could be bringing on a lot of the symptoms you possess right now. Did you know that lymph nodes actually can change size throughout the day and that it's normal? I found that out, and I have a lymph node in my neck that just pokes out a little more on one side, it is normal. If they are truly swollen from infection, they will hurt to the touch, and just a light touch. Where is your joint pain? I experienced the weirdest numbness and tingling in my calves and forearms when I was at my lowest, got cold chills, sore throat, everything, then soon after, my calves were tightening up on me. And something that I've learned, the ARS period usually only lasts for about a week then goes away. It takes many years before all of the other symptoms will occur. SO, you are probably like me, paying way too much attention to every little thing that goes on in your body. What's your temp?
