You are not alone. Like you, I have tested negative at 6 months. Yet, the white tongue comes and goes. In fact it started about 3 months after exposure, although I have deduced that mine started after a long course of antibiotics. I have seen 4 doctors and a dentist, including a ENT specialist. All cannot diagnose any problem. It is likely to be glossitis or geographic tongue. It can be caused by stress - not the type you and I know, i.e. work related or physical. But more long term emotional - yes, like fear of HIV infection. My symptoms now have declined a lot, but persists and do not bother me anymore. Try not to think about it so much. Use a mouthwash, keep scaping your tongue, and keep posting. Good luck.
