first of all, how to use this site?

Hi every one, I am not sure how to use this chating service, I thougt it's a live chating but it looks as an e-mail... After some one could explain me how to use this, I want to know what is out there, what are my posibilities to keep or find friends. It will be almost one year since I was diagnosed HIV+ and I think I am doing ok... (some times) I live in the bay area, close to San Francisco, CA. Ok for now I don't know what more to say...greetings and God blees all of you!
