Incarceration and re-entry are difficult experiences. Family issues, emotional and physical health, housing and employment all present challenges for individuals involved in the criminal justice system. For people living with HIV, finding solutions to address these issues (along with stigma) can be particularly challenging. Faith leaders, advocates, service professionals and concerned New Yorkers are invited to learn, share & discuss the unique needs of this group of people. Event participants will include an expert from the Center for HIV Law & Policy, service providers and individuals living with HIV who’ve experienced some of these challenges.
