HIV Symptoms
      12/10/01 02:53 AM

I have had a series of gynecological problems such as an urinary tract infection and an inflammation of the cervix ever since I was 16. I am now 21. I have also had several yeast infections, but they have always cleared up with over the counter medication. However, now I have yet another yeast infection that will not clear up completely with over the counter med. I had a yeast infection and used some cream and it went away; then it came back again 2 weeks later and did not respond to the cream; then I used Monistat and now it seems to have cleared up, but not completely. Needless to say, I am absolutely terrified to get tested. I am also experiencing extreme problems with swallowing. My throat feels like there is a lot of mucus and I am not sick. I did go to the Dr.'s and I was tested for Chlamydia and Gonnerhea and the results came back negative. My question is does a recurrent yeast infection and throat problems signify a possible exposure?
